Basel – Juni 2011
Michelle ist die Tochter meiner Freundin Kristina. Sie geht hier in Basel zum Gymnasium und war im Juni 2011 in der 9.Klasse. Sie hatte gerade in La Ferrière in der Nähe von Bern ein sogenanntes LAP gemacht. Das heißt Lernen Am Projekt und wird in der Schweiz mehrfach während der Gymnasialzeit durchgeführt. Diese Projekte dauern meistens 5 Tage und haben eine Vor- und Nach-Bereitungszeit. Diesmal ging es um die 60er Jahre und es standen unterschiedliche Themen zur Auswahl, wie zum Beispiel Design, Mode, Architektur, Musik, Kunst und Medien. In kleinen Gruppen wurden dann die einzelnen Themengebiete bearbeitet. Ein weitere Gruppe filmte das Ganze und produzierte eine DVD.
Michelle entschied sich für Mode.
Den Teilnehmern wird bei der Umsetzung bzw. Ausarbeitung möglichst freie Hand gelassen, was sicherlich die kritische und kreative Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema fördert. So haben Michelle und ihre Mitstreiterinnen sich für vier zentrale Punkte entschieden, nämlich: “ Das Kleine Schwarze“, „Hip-Hop-Style“, “ Hippies“und „Der Beginn des Punk“. Im weiteren haben sie sich Kleider vom Theater ausgeliehen und sich gegen ein Fotobuch und statt dessen für eine Powerpoint-Präsentation entschieden. Eine Modenschau ließ sich aus organisatorischen Gründen leider nicht durchführen. Ich hab mir die DVD angesehen und muß sagen, dass mich das , was -wirklich alle – Teilnehmer zu diesem Thema produziert haben, wirklich beeindruckt hat.
In diesem Rahmen kam Michelle auf die Idee, doch einmal mit einigen Freundinnen ein halbwegs professionelles Fashion-Shooting durchführen zu lassen. Deswegen hatte ich nach einer entsprechenden Location gesucht. Ich hatte auch auf dem rechten Rheinufer mit Blick auf Groß-Baseler-Altstadt einen passenden Ort gefunden, um mit der mobilen Blitzanlage bei Abendstimmung ein „cooles“ Shooting hinzubekommen-sogar ein in der Nähe liegendes Hotel ließ sich als Garderobe missbrauchen- allerdings spielte das Wetter nicht mit. Es regnete seit meinem Gang durch die Altstadt ununterbrochen, so dass wir nur in einer kleinen Regenpause zu den Photos kamen, die hier zu sehen sind.Die Postproduktion im Vintage-Style verdanken Michelle und ich -naturellement- dem schon im letzten Artikel erwähnten Peter Hilscher. Und auch wenn Du diese Erwähnung in Deiner grossen Bescheidenheit nicht möchtest, lieber Peter: Das mußte nochmal gesagt werden!
